How to make a slowed + reverb song
- Choose a song from your phone or computer. Videos work too.
- Tap Slowed + reverb, or move the Speed and Reverb sliders until it sounds right. Press play to hear it change as you go.
- Press Save my version to download it as an MP3, then add it to your TikTok, Reel, Short or playlist.
What the presets do
- Slowed + reverb: 85% speed with a big, washed out reverb. The classic dreamy edit.
- Super slowed: 70% speed and even more reverb, for a deep, heavy feel.
- Sped up: 125% speed with no reverb, the bright and bouncy version you hear on TikTok.
- Nightcore: 135% speed with a touch of reverb, higher pitched and full of energy.
Questions
Why does the pitch change when I change the speed?
That's the slowed and sped up sound. Like a record played at the wrong speed, slowing a song down makes it deeper and speeding it up makes it higher. It's what gives these edits their mood.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It runs in Safari, Chrome and other modern browsers on phones, tablets and computers, with nothing to install. If you don't hear anything on an iPhone, check that the silent switch is off.
Can I post the result on TikTok or Instagram?
The tool is free to use, but the song still belongs to whoever made it. Edits of popular songs are common on social media, though platforms may mute or remove them if the owner objects.
Is it free?
Yes, with no account and no watermark.
